Cabinet installation in Maple Grove and the Twin Cities
D1 Construction Group installs kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities across the Twin Cities metro. Boxes are set level and square and fastened into the wall framing, fillers and trim are fitted to walls that are rarely straight, and doors and drawers are adjusted until the gaps line up. Straight answers
What does cabinet installation include?
Setting the boxes level and square, fastening them into the wall framing, fitting fillers and trim to the walls, and adjusting doors and drawers so the gaps line up. If plumbing or electrical has to move for the new layout, that is scoped and priced up front.
Can you install new cabinets after water damage?
Yes. Sink bases and lower cabinets are often the casualty of a slow leak. The leak is dealt with and the subfloor dried first, then the new cabinets go in, so the damage doesn’t start again underneath them.
Do new cabinets mean a new countertop?
Usually. Countertops are templated to the cabinets they sit on, and most don’t survive being lifted off intact. If you want to keep yours, tell us before we price the job and we will say honestly whether it can be done.
Can you do the rest of the kitchen too?
Yes. Cabinets can be a job on their own, or part of a full kitchen or bathroom remodel with the countertops, tile, plumbing and paint handled by the same crew.
